The future is now, and it’s happening right before our eyes—or rather, on our lips. In the latest fusion of tech and beauty, Smashbox is now letting customers create personalized, 3D-printed lipstick. And it’s even cooler than it sounds.

In honor of Smashbox’s #BeLegendary lipstick collection launch, which marks the release of 120 shades (yes!), customers can go online to smashbox.com to play the brand’s #Belegendary 120 Lipstick Matching Game. Select your favorite shade and you’ll receive a code to redeem a free 3D-printed lipstick with any purchase you make. You can choose any design you want: hearts, emoji stars, signatures, Twitter handles, logos—you name it. The print gets transferred into a mirror compact, and you can apply the lipstick using a brush or your fingers. You only have until October 12 to play the game and get the code, but the custom lipsticks can be redeemed through October 31.

Psst: We’re obsessed with these dark lipstick hues.

There’s nothing better than your signature lipstick shade, but to have it encased in your brand’s logo or your actual signature? It’s an awesome idea whether you work in marketing or just need a unique gift for the upcoming holiday season. Smashbox’s press release states it’s “only the beginning of 3D-printed makeup” so we’re excited to see what’s next.

Now learn how to create a whole makeup look with just one tube of lipstick.
